**Warehouse Lead**

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse. This role assists in support functions related to the order administration, identification, and picking and packing of warehouse products to meet sales order requirements. Additionally, this role is a utility role and the ability to flex in various capacities is essential to success.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Capable of overseeing pick line projects from implementation to completion on an as needed basis
- Manually pick and pack all designated pick line sales orders on or before the shipping date
- Train new associates within area of responsibility
- Operate hand truck to move / transfer product shipments from the shipping and receiving platform to the storage / work area
- Follow established processes and procedures for order processing and inventory control
- Perform general housekeeping duties according to the Operations Manager
- Operate equipment w/o accident or damage or injury
- Fulfill product orders on time, every time

**Key Skills**:

- Be familiar with both computer and paper files, folders and directories
- Be capable of manual labor
- Must have predictable and reliable attendance
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow and issue both written and verbal instructions
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in a medium to large scale product warehouse shipping / receiving operation

**Education and Certifications**:
H.S. diploma / GED OR 3+ years’ experience or training operating in a warehouse, distribution environment

**Minimum Physical and Environmental Requirements**:

- Visual Abilities: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, read reports.
- Hearing: Hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, vendors, and students.
- Dexterity, Grasping, Feeling: Write, type and use the telephone, copier, and computer systems.
- Mobility: Open files and operate office machines; move between departments and attend meetings across campus.
- Talking: Frequently convey detailed or important instructions and ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Lifting, Pulling, pushing: Exert up to 50 pounds for force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Predictable attendance on site
- Lifting, Pulling, Pushing: Exert up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Primary job location is a large sized, product storage / receiving / distribution warehouse
- Occasionally exposed to seasonal, outdoor weather conditions
- Readily exposed to machinery with moving parts and vibration; product movement vehicles (electric)
- Moderate noise level

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:
