**Elasto-Valve Rubber Products Inc.** manufactures a full range of elastomeric piping products, featuring the latest in innovative design and materials. We serve to a global marketplace the varying needs of mining, pulp and paper, power generation, food processing, water and waste treatment, marine and petrochemical industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate machines and equipment to cut, shape, splice, fit, and cement rubber materials to form rubber parts or finished rubber products.
- Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly.
- Maintain work area as needed or as required by the maintenance schedule.
- Operate finishing machines or equipment to trim, grind, or buff rubber products into final form.
- Inspect rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
- Make minor adjustments or repairs to products.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Follow all safety procedures and be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented team environment.
- Must be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Dependable mode of transportation, No public transit available.
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in a fabrication or rubber shop is an asset.

**Summary**

As an Operations Employee - Rubber Technician, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and assembly skills to ensure efficient production. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will operate forklifts and handle various power and hand tools to support manufacturing activities. Your expertise in manufacturing and assembly will be essential in maintaining quality standards and optimizing workflow. We expect you to contribute positively to our team, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.00-$29.00 per hour
