We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Lead to join our Sudbury Office. As an Operations Lead you will play a pivotal role in leading Sudbury’s operations team. Northern Ontario is an emerging market with ample opportunities, as an Operations Lead you will work alongside with our Area Manager and our Estimating Lead to strategically grow our business portfolio to over $200 million annually.

As an Operations Lead you will contribute to the team by:
**Responsibilities**:

- Manages and oversees all operations employees within Sudbury
- Oversees and supports project performance within Northern Ontario
- Liaise internal PCL resources to Northern Ontario's operation team
- Secures new work by participating in estimates and proposal presentations
- Researches and pursues new markets in Northern Ontario and mining
- Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders in new markets
- Coaches and grows Sudbury’s Operation team

**Qualifications**:

- 10-15 years of progressive construction experience, including leadership and mentoring.
- Postsecondary education or training in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.
- Proven ability to lead projects valued at or above $50-$100M that includes all project scopes, or as part of a team with a comparatively complex job.
- Strong desire to grow career in the area of operations and general management, with the ability to relocate and/or work on remote projects as needed.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills with working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suit and project management, scheduling and estimating software.
