**Position Summary**

The Investment Administrator provides operational support for daily investment activities. This position maintains Investor registers for the Funds MCF Investments administers. The Investment Administrator verifies each investor to ensure eligibility and compliance with anti-money laundering requirements and processes all investor-related transactions, including but not limited to subscriptions, capital calls, and distributions. This position handles all investor communications daily, weekly, and monthly, including distributing shareholder statements.

**List of Main Responsibilities**

Investment Management
- Perform daily and monthly investment servicing processes.
- Communicate with clients to arrange meetings and provide communication and updates.
- Prepare investment documents for signature using DocuSign.
- Seek management approval and submit created contracts to investors for execution.
- Review completed paperwork from clients to ensure it meets eligibility and compliance requirements.
- Follow up with Investors on missing documentation.
- Submit completed files to the trustee or admin and investment details to the controller office.
- Produce month-end reports and any other ad hoc management reports.
- Process quarterly distributions.
- Maintain electronic and physical Investor records.
- Produce Investor statements and correspondence.

Reporting & Compliance
- Manage the OSC Ontario Securities Commission (OSCC) stakeholders, and our policies and practices are compliant.
- Administer annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) practice.
- Provide monthly and annual reports to management and investors.
- Ensure all insurance requirements are met, and insurance is maintained.
- Ensure the Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investors (OBSI) membership is maintained and in good standing.

Client Management
- Create and foster productive relationships with investors.
- Welcome investors in-house and meet with them to explain and complete required paperwork.
- Deliver personalized, ongoing financial solutions to help clients work toward their long-term investment goals.
- Liaise with clients and internal contacts on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain client relationship management through the lifecycle to assure client satisfaction.

- Ability to efficiently manage large volumes of electronic documents.
- Ability to maintain quality and focus while working through repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work independently and understand when to escalate.
- Ability to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with Unity, Conveyancer, and Teraview.
- Knowledge of RRSP/ TFS accounts.
- Post-secondary diploma in business, finance or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with investments.
- Knowledge of private lending, Mortgage Investment Corporations, and mortgage/investment payments is considered an asset.
- Registered Dealer with OCF considered an asset.
- Update to date police and reference check.
