At Fresh St. Market's Meat Department, we provide a broad variety of fresh, high quality products with a strong emphasis on local and specialty items designed to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. We assist customers with any inquiry, package meat products, replenish display cases and maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.

Reporting to the Meat Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
**Job Overview**
- Expert of the company vision, mission, and core values
- Bring a positive attitude every day
- Work collaboratively with others within the store to achieve working relationships
- Establishes high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work
- Creating and maintain a great customer experience for both external and internal
- Ensure food safety and quality control of all products at all times
- Supporting the manager with inventory, waste control/management
- Ensure health and safety standards are executed
- Organizing special promotions, displays and events

**Street Credentials**
- Must have valid work authorization in Canada
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
- 2+ years of Leadership experience in a Meat/Deli or related field
- Loves working in a clean and well-maintained workplace environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well with others in a high-pressure environment
- Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market

**The Fine Print**:
Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting wage between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the wage range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position. In some circumstances, the new employee may be eligible for compensation beyond the P50 of the wage range. Factors that influence this decision include full job knowledge, qualifications, internal equity, and experience in a similar role.

This position has a per hour premium in addition to the hourly wage.
