We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality food is delivered to our customers. **Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to perfection, following proper cooking techniques and temperature guidelines
- Adhere to portion control standards and minimize waste
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
- Follow proper kitchen closing procedures, including cleaning equipment, surfaces, and storage areas
- Contribute to the development and improvement of menu items and recipes
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Attention to detail and the ability to consistently produce high-quality dishes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
We offer a starting wage of $19 per hour, with potential for growth and advancement based on performance. Additionally, we provide a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional development and teamwork.
