Our Sudbury Operations have been in existence for more than 100 years. With five mines, a mill, a smelter, a refinery and nearly 4,000 employees it is also one of the largest integrated mining complexes in the world. Sudbury is also home to several administrative sites serving both the Ontario Operations as well as all our North Atlantic Operations.

Port Colborne is home to our Nickel Refinery where raw materials from our Sudbury operations are processed into electrocobalt and precious metals and serves as a distribution center for finished nickel products.

**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Master Data Supervisor **to join our **Asset Management Process team **in **Sudbury **. This is a permanent position.

As a Master Data Supervisor, you will provide leadership to a team of Master Data Analysts supporting the maintenance of master data. You will also establish and continuously improve standards related to Master Data entry and modification requirements, including processes to create new and/or modify Master Data across North Atlantic locations. Your major accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Oversee a team of staff responsible for:

- Data management related to: Functional Locations, Equipment, Measuring Points, Work Centers, Bill of Materials, Task Lists, Maintenance Plans, Standard Text, and Construction Type
- Supporting plant with ERP expertise related to Master Data
- Process asset capitalizations and transfers and identify asset disposals required
- Create and follow-up on own Help Desk tickets
- Provide training, guidance and development support on Master Data and business systems standards
- Support/guide Reliability teams on the tools and processes to be followed in the creation and maintenance of Asset Service Strategies.
- Provide support for standardizing Master Data
- Develop, create and provide Master Data audits and reports as required
- Conduct audits on Master Data quality, defining and implementing actions to address non-compliance
- Act as the North Atlantic representative in the Vale Communities of Practice routines
- Participate in upgrades and enhancements related to SAP Master Data
- Support North Atlantic KPI reporting as requested i.e., Availability & Utilization, OEE, Work Management Metrics etc.

Oversee and troubleshoot ticket resolution related to Master Data for North Atlantic sites

**About You**

Education**:

- College or Undergraduate degree is an asset

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years in a maintenance or operational role
- Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory/leadership role

**Skills**:

- Trained and qualified in the use of ERP integrated planning and routine management modules, with a focus on Master Data modules
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence and ERP ECC Reporting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Projects and Teams
