**The Position**

**Program and Service Coordination**
- Oversee the daily delivery of K-12 student support programs, including tutoring, transportation, school liaison, and resource distribution.
- Coordinate the administration of post-secondary education support, including funding, reporting, and communication with students.
- Support the daycare program by ensuring the centre runs efficiently and stays in compliance.
- Support the implementation of adult education and training programs as directed.
- Ensure that education services are delivered in alignment with shíshálh values, policies, and procedures.

**Staff Supervision and Support**
- Supervise and support education staff, including Education Coordinators, Case Managers and daycare employees.
- Coordinate schedules, workloads, and task assignments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Facilitate ongoing team communication, collaboration, and staff meetings.
- Identify and communicate staff training needs to the Education Division Manager.

**Community and School Liaison**
- Maintain regular contact with School District 46 and other educational institutions to coordinate student support.
- Address operational issues related to student attendance, conduct, transportation, and safety.
- Engage with parents, caregivers, and shíshálh community members to ensure accessible and responsive services.
- Support Elders and cultural educators in delivering culturally grounded programming in schools and community settings.

**Administrative and Financial Supervision**
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures, and report variances to the Education Division Manager.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to K-12 and post-secondary programming.
- Provide data and reports to support operational planning and funding accountability.

**Note**: Perform all other tasks within the scope of the position as required and requested.

**Qualifications, Skills and Abilities**:
**Education and Experience**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, Indigenous Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an asset.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an education, program coordination, or supervisory role.
- Experience working in or with Indigenous communities is required.
- Familiarity with K-12 and post-secondary education systems in British Columbia.
- Familiarity with daycare licensing and regulations in British Columbia.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience supervising staff in a team-based environment.
- Commitment to cultural safety and Indigenous-centered approaches.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- A clean Criminal Record Check.
