We are adding to our multi-disciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and agriculture experts to bring our products to market. We’re seeking a full-time Analytical Chemist, with a specialization in spectroscopy and chemometrics to join our team. In this role, you would be challenged to develop and refine techniques for analysis of grains with spectroscopic techniques and assisting the multi-disciplinary team in deploying those techniques in the field.
- Minimum qualifications:_
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience (Bachelors) or 2+ years of relevant experience (Masters or PhD)
- Hands on experience with spectroscopy methods and chemometrics tools
- A strong understanding of data science and statistics
- Ability to independently manage projects and meet deliverables
- Excellent communication skills and English fluency
- Preferred qualifications include the minimum qualifications above and the following:_
- Modelling data with chemometric tools for multi-variate analysis and PLS regressions
- Python coding or similar tools for data handling and analysis
- Demonstrated success working in a cross-disciplinary team
- You’ll be working on things like:_
- Refinement of near infrared spectrometry experimental setup for grain analysis
- Collection and analysis of spectrometric data
- Integration of chemometric models into the overall Ground Truth Ag product

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
