Rural Municipality (RM) of Buckland No. 491 is seeking a skilled and reliable Belly Dump Truck Driver with a valid Class 1A license to join our Public Works team. This is a vital role in maintaining and improving our municipal infrastructure, with a focus on gravel hauling and road maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a belly dump truck to transport gravel, sand, and other aggregate materials to various municipal work sites.
- Accurately control the belly dump mechanism for precise material placement during road construction and maintenance.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs to the Public Works Foreman.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation as required by the RM and DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and RM safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with the Public Works Foreman, other RM staff, and contractors.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle.
- Assist with other Public Works duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
- Proven experience operating belly dump trucks, preferably in road construction or municipal settings.
- Strong understanding of belly dump operation and material placement techniques.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards applicable to Saskatchewan.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on diverse terrain typical of rural Saskatchewan.
- Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the local area and road networks within the RM of Buckland is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $29.43-$33.12 per hour
