Reporting to the Creative Director, the Social and Content Specialist will spearhead our brand's online presence and storytelling strategy.
**Key Functions and Responsibilities**:
**Social Strategy**:
- Curate and execute an annual and monthly content calendar aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Proactively anticipate and leverage emerging social trends to strategically position our brand
- Develop engaging content across key platforms such as Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Utilize analytics tools like Power BI to glean insights and optimize performance.
- Create captivating photo and video content for social channels.
- Community management: Engage with our social community, respond to comments/messages, and foster relationships with our community.
- Manage and coordinate brand partnerships to enhance our brand presence and reach.
**Content Strategy**:
- Take ownership of annual and monthly campaign and content planning, driving alignment with our overarching objectives
- Generate fresh and creative ideas for content that resonates with our community and differentiates us as thought leaders
- Content calendar management: Maintain a comprehensive content calendar that outlines upcoming content initiatives, deadlines and key milestone to ensure timely execution and alignment with campaign and strategic strategy
- Act as the primary point of contact for media communications and press releases.
- Foster and maintain relationships with media outlets.
*Note: This role may evolve based on evolving business needs.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital graphic design (e.g., Canva) and video editing.
- Track record of actively managing and growing social media platforms with at least 50K followers per platform.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and social media best practices.
- Keen eye for visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively in diverse teams.
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in sample tracking, product operations, or related fields is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with tools like Power BI for KPI tracking.
- Willingness to travel to the US as needed for Markets in Las Vegas and High Point
- Previous experience in furniture, fashion, or consumer goods industries is a plus.
