As a Social Content Specialist, you will deliver the brand’s social strategy — from ideation to execution. You’re a true social media guru, with a passion for the latest digital media trends and social best practices. You work cross-functionally with various teams across the organization to ensure alignment throughout all key digital touchpoints.

This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.

**Meet Your Future Team**:

- The Brand Marketing team is the direct connection between the guest and the Arc’teryx brand through content and experience. We work in lockstep with our brand management team, our creative team, athletes/ambassadors, community partners and agencies to create experiences and tell stories that are relevant, thought-provoking and true to who we are.

**If you were the Social Content Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Collaborating with the Global Social Media Manager to create and execute global social media strategy
- Day-to-day operations and content plants of our primary and secondary social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Strava, Pinterest, Youtube, Threads, Twitter)
- Creating monthly content overviews to be shared with stakeholders
- Creating monthly content reports to help story-tell success and opportunities of channels
- Working collaboratively with Marketing Managers and creative team to ensure proper campaign assets are requested and delivered, suited intentionally for the needs of each channel
- Working collaboratively with our film team to ensure all necessary content is delivered and uploaded to Youtube
- Collaborate with sports marketing team on athlete content for owned and partner channels
- Overseeing all digital engagement across social channels to ensure guest comments/DMs are responded to in a timely and professional manner (in collaboration with guest services)
- Working in collaboration with the EDI team to ensure brand filters, cultural moments, and company values are always considered throughout our social channels
- Helping organize asset collection and delivery
- Attending and supporting event social storytelling/social coverage
- Supporting with product seeding for relevant projects
- Submitting and tracking invoices and relevant expenses to ensure budget accountability

**Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future**:

- Leading wholistic social strategy — including exploring new channel/creator opportunities, growth tactics, UGC
- Capturing and delivering ad hoc content pieces built specifically for social

**Are you our next Social Content Specialist?**:

- You have bachelors degree or post-secondary education in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- You have 3+ years of experience in a communications role with experience in a fast-paced, results-driven working environment
- You have a keen interest and experience in digital content creation — photo, video, and design skills are not required but an asset
- You have superior verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong listening skills
- You have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and social media management
- You have a keen eye for emerging communications and digital social trends, a passion for the outdoors, and an enthusiastic approach to evolving and improving existing brand awareness strategies
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
- Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
