**Architectural Millwork Shop requires experienced Panel Saw Operator**

We are a 60+ year old company that can offer long term employment including benefits.

We supply custom woodwork to schools, restaurants, retail, hospitals, airports and more.

**Experience**:

- Some Cabinetmaking experience
- Direct Panel Saw experience, an understanding of this equipment and its job description.

**Languages**:

- Fluently speak, read and write English, Imperial and Metric measures.

**Type of Work**:

- Use of machines
- Enclosed shop environment.

**Specific Tasks**:

- Movement of materials to and from the saw
- Material management
- Following or developing cutting lists for parts
- Interpret engineering and design drawings
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors and provide solutions for quality control.

**Additional Skills**:

- Interaction with cabinetmakers and management to solve problems.
- Train and work with other personnel in a team environment.
- Forklift Operation
- Co-Ordination of shipping of products with shipping department.
- Occasional help with other cabinetmakers.

**Computer training and Knowledge**:

- Occasional use of Windows, and Project Management software.

**Work Conditions**:

- Fast paced environment, deadlines, office, and some minor shop.
- Steel toe footwear, Tools, Safety glasses, and hearing protection.

**Transportation**:

- Provide own means to our shop to work on time.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
