We are looking for skilled and motivated individuals for our day shift which runs from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

**About the role**:
**Skills**:

- Arrange machine setup properly before beginning wood panel (4x8 sheets) work
- Read blueprints as instructions for cutting and operate the machine safely
- Work in collaboration with the Engineering Team to ensure the panel drawings are the correct revision
- Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, replacing parts and tooling as necessary
- Monitor the machinery and troubleshoot issues and solve through collaboration with the team as they arise.
- Meet all production targets for cutting wood panels and edge banding within the set time frame.
- Be quality focused ensuring output is within defined quality
- Maintain good housekeeping practices
- Operate machinery and hand tools
- Managing and ordering panel inventory required to meet production demand
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must be ableto work with all shop personnel
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**
- At least one year experience with sliding table saw, edge bander, CNC wood panels router and various hand power tools is required.
- Knowledge of programming and running a CNC overhead router is an asset.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical CAD drawings and taking measurements.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
- Should be able to communicate in English language, both written and verbal
- Good time management skills
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
