Edmonton, Canada Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. Full time

Reporting to the ATP Supervisor, the Saw Operator - ATP, will set-up and operate saws and cutting equipment in accordance with work order requirements.

**Key position functions include**:

- Set-up and operate saws and cutting equipment in accordance with work order requirements
- Receive material and process paperwork
- Colour code material types
- Ensure processes and machine operations are performed in accordance with safety regulations and are carried out in a conscientious manner
- Transfer heat numbers on cut pieces and ends of cut bars
- Responsible to ensure product quality meets drawing specification
- Identify non-conformances by separation and/or marking
- Maintain machines, work station and equipment to an acceptable standard
- Follow work and order and process traveler requirements and fill out job sheets or record time using ERP system
- Report all machine, crane and hoist problems in the proper maintenance logs and notify Maintenance and/or Lead Hand of a down-time situation
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
- High School Diploma with relevant shop and/or manufacturing experience operating and setting up saws and other cutting equipment
- Mechanically inclined; basic understanding of hand and power tool functionality
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Good communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Well organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work tasks
