The Faculty has more than 4,000 undergraduate students and more than 900 graduate students (200 PhD students). **Responsibilities**: The Program Manager, Graduate Programs and Program Development will play a critical role in supporting the development of high-quality graduate programs across the Faculty of Health Sciences, particularly in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Advanced Health Care Practice Program, Kinesiology and Nursing graduate programs. Working closely with the Associate Dean, Graduate and Post-Doctoral Studies, Assistant Dean, Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs, School Directors, Graduate Chairs and other leaders across the faculty, the Program Manager will support the planning, development and integration of graduate programs including supporting critical processes to support students, faculty and staff in the delivery of exceptional learning experiences. The Program Manager will play a critical role in supporting the work to introduce a new Professional Doctorate (DHSc) and support the integration of faculty-wide graduate programs across the Faculty of Health Sciences. With intimate knowledge of the programs, this leadership role will play an integral role in the coordination of project activities and resources, oversight and accountability for program and course development, maintenance of linkages with key constituencies and liaison among the course development teams, maintenance of necessary supplies and supporting budget planning for relevant program responsibilities. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Education, Health Sciences or related discipline; Masters degree in Adult Education, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred - Courses taken in project management, learning design and development - Certification in Human Resources - Completion of Project Management Professional certificate (or equivalent) would be an asset - Demonstrated training / education / learning in EDID-A supports and principles preferred **Experience**: - 5 years’ experience leading complex and dynamic projects in a post-secondary environment, managing project and administrative staff teams and with staff supervision - Experience managing the implementation and operationalization of strategic plans, and developing stakeholder and strategic relationships - Experience developing, implementing and coordinating instructional development programs and processes - 3 years’ experience with finance and budgetary processes, including the development and administration of budgets - 3 years’ experience designing online learning programs at the post-secondary graduate program level is preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, current theories and practices in Adult Education and with online learning tools and principles - In-depth knowledge of instructional design methods to deliver instructional programs and courses - Knowledge of e-Learning principles, strategies and tools - Familiarity with educational technologies, and outcome-based curriculum design - Familiarity with financial budgeting and principles, Human Resources principles and practices, Employment Standards Act and other relevant legislation - Knowledge of best practices in building a strong collaborative team and leading people - Project management skills to champion a project from conception to completion, and to ensure that team roles are clear, milestones are communicated and deadlines are met - Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a shared vision to lead and coach employees to excellence - A well-defined sense of diplomacy including solid negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills - Communication skills with the ability to converse with, write reports for, and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization (other departments, key
