**Alggin Metal Industries Ltd.** is looking for hardworking and highly motivated Sheet Metal Journeymen and Apprentices who are eager and interested to work in a manufacturing/shop environment.

**Duties**:

- Correctly read and interpret drawings, blueprints, diagrams and other documents and instructions
- Safely operate various sheet metal shop tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, drills and welding machines
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to customer specifications and Alggin standards
- Coordinate and collaborate with respective team members to ensure complete and timely completion of work orders
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Compliance to Alggin company and safety standards
- Other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Sheet Metal Journeyman certification or Sheet Metal apprenticeship
- Relevant experience in fabrication shop and significant welding experience are assets

Alggin provides:

- Full-time employment at competitive wages; rate of pay will be based on work experience in the Sheet Metal trade or relevant work experience
- Work hours: 2:30PM to 1AM, Monday - Thursday (Afternoon Shift)
- Comprehensive health and dental benefit package, RRSP match, profit shares

Alggin is a manufacturer of metal products, servicing the HVAC industry in Calgary for over 45 years. In addition to wholesale distribution, Alggin operates one of the largest HVAC manufacturing plants in Western Canada. We have distribution facilities in Lethbridge and Edmonton.
