Avalanche Air Systems is seeking to add a Sheet Metal Journeyman and apprentices to join our team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Complete daily tasks related to Sheet Metal
- Adhere to all applicable building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for HVAC systems
- Lead, Coach, and Mentor Apprentices.
- Verify work of any apprentices under their supervision.
- Supply and maintain own hand tools.
- Complete assigned jobs in a professional, cooperative, and productive manner
- Comply with OHS Regulations and other regulatory bodies
- Complete all required documentation
- Participate in the Avalanche Health and Safety Program
- Complete training as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certified Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker or indentured Apprentice
- Read & interpret blueprints and specifications
- Ability to produce accurate material take off lists
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner
- Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to provide own tools related to experience
- Certificates considered an asset: Fall Protection, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, First Aid -Ability to travel to and from jobsites
- Ability to work out of town considered an asset

Pay: $21.00-$42.00 per hour
