Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America’s oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.

Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.

The newly listed company will become North America’s leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers’ greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH**
- Leads and is responsible for the commercial Geocycle business and results in Ontario
- Develops and grows long-term relationships with customers and waste generators
- Saturates cement plant capacity to use alternative fuels and raw materials, at a good price discount to virgin materials (the value creation is not limited to cost avoidance but also must include revenue realization)
- Delivers pricing, quality and volumes of alternative fuel/raw materials at or above budgeted levels
- Generates revenue from waste stream tipping fee
- Identifies areas of opportunity for future growth within the Ontario market, helping move Geocycle up the value chain and into the pre-processing market
- Provides clear explanation of shifts in market to defend existing programs and pursue new opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

**Education**: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent professional experience
**Field of Study Preferred**: Business, Environmental Sciences
**Required Work Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience within a waste management, environmental, or industrial environment
**Required Technical Skills**: SAP and Salesforce skills are considered an asset
**Travel Requirements**: ~50%
