**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics effectively.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and deliveries.
- Communicate with drivers regarding their routes, schedules, and any changes that may occur.
- Analyze shipping data to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
- Manage phone systems to handle inquiries from clients and drivers professionally.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies related to freight handling.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes as needed, ensuring all documentation is accurate.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in transportation management systems is essential for effective operation.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with AS400 software is a plus for managing logistics operations.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with clients and drivers.
- Ability to analyze shipping data for route optimization and operational improvements.
- Knowledge of freight operations, including shipping and receiving processes, is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately while managing various communication channels.
