Day to day
**You Are**
A talented marketing writer that creates customer-centric content and knows how to drive action. You live and breathe the brand-and are a natural storyteller. You love turning complex topics into simple smart content. Your enthusiasm, inquisitive mindset, and collaborative spirit deliver powerful brand experiences.
**Responsibilities**
- Co-create our brand content strategy, messaging framework and guidelines.
- Understand business goals and craft persuasive content experiences to drive identified KPIs; co-develop a process to measure, test and optimize messaging performance.
- Work with a cross-functional team to plan, manage and execute against the editorial calendar.
- Write simple, smart, and human copy based on the audience need and content purpose.
- Cover complex topics such as vendor finance, sustainability, and circularity in our brand voice.
- Play a strong role in owning the content on our branded channels; edit and proof copy from the broader marketing community.
- Be a brand leader and ambassador for DLL's governance policies and procedures.
- Follow thought leaders, content channels (publications, social media communities, etc.) and competitive landscape for emerging trends and opportunities.
**Project Examples Could Be**
- Develop a vendor finance insights research report with corresponding micro-content.
- Create marketing automation content to attract and onboard new vendor partners.
- Optimize web content to improve SEO performance and the user experience, in our brand voice.
Essentials
- 5+ years work experience in copywriting, content marketing; B2B preferred.
- Fluent in English, speaking and writing.
- Proven ability to embrace a brand identity and tell compelling stories. Portfolio of work demonstrating cross-channel content development in long and short-form (share examples).
- Strong understanding of SEO tactics and digital writing best practices.
- An enthusiastic work ethic and rigorous attention to detail, whether it's punctuating your copy or being an ambassador of the brand's tone and style.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; a driving force that can identify and lead new opportunities.
- Communication skills that leave no room for questions-you're straightforward, you're candid and, above all, you're thoughtful and kind.
- Experience with measurement and performance tracking tools, g. Google Analytics.
- Experience with Sprout Social or Hootsuite preferred.
- Experience in finance or fintech is a bonus
