We are currently seeking hardworking, self-starters to join our team as **full-time Project Manager**. Our busy steel fabricating shop will require highly motivated individuals who are familiar with structural and miscellaneous metal installations to work independently and as a part of a team. We fabricate and install structural and miscellaneous items such as columns, beams, stairs, canopy’s, railings, brackets - virtually anything for the construction industry.

Duties Include but not limited to:

- Review site instructions, change orders& contracts with Estimator
- Manage project resources & maintain schedule
- Resolve project disputes in a timely manner
- Provide direction to on-site field manager so project is on time & within budget
- Ensure successful information flow between departments
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants & subcontractors
- Check first drawing submittal issued for Review IFA
- Highlight or cloud any outstanding items that need clarification or an RFI issued
- Sort file and send all documents to client, file the erection plans, assembly drawings and part detail pages. Send the above as a packaged PDF to client for
- Send drawings to connection engineer for Stamp and review
- Send Submittal to consultants
- Go over Clients RFA (return from Approval) check for answers to outstanding questions or RFIs, Markup any items that need further clarification and send back to client. Review any added items that are not included in our scope
- Review drawings with the field superintendent
- Send changes from RFA to detailing
- Issue Fabrication drawings to shop
- Confirm purchase budget and materials for project
- Determine supplier for materials
- Place order for materials
- Confirm schedule of Values reflects progress to date
- Review SIs, RFI and issue change orders and keep track of changes and collecting documentation from Clients

**Requirements**:

- 2 years’ experience in the structural steel field
- Able to read structural, architectural and E drawings
- Detail oriented, organized
- Able to manage multiple jobs at same time

Pay: $26.54-$37.43 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 5 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
