**General Summary**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Manages Projects scope, cost, schedules, and technical performance
- Customer communications
- Establish communication schedules to update stakeholders in the organization and external customers on the progress of Projects.
- Contribute to customer presentations, Project reviews, and demonstrations
- Propose, design, plan, execute and evaluate projects according to the company’s Project Management Process
- Participate in monthly Project status updates
- Ensure that Project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
- Focus and engage all team members to align with the objectives, commitments, culture and values of the company; support high performance work teams that meet customer commitments
- Determine the objectives and measure upon which Projects will be evaluated at completion
- Monitor the progress of Projects and make adjustment as necessary to ensure successful completion
- Evaluate and work with the Project team to approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases, as directed by company and customer procedures.
- Maintain an understanding of the current status of all Project deliverables and time lines
- Evaluate the outcomes of the Project as established during the planning phase
- Other duties and special projects as requested by the Project Sponsors

**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business with 3 -5 years of experience in Project Management
- Experience in Project earned value management
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven success in organizing, leading and directing complex programs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial, technical and legal documents
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of company personnel, suppliers and customers
- Has successfully completed a series of low to medium dollar value projects.
- Good Presentation skills for updating senior management on status
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving
- Ability to obtain CGD clearance
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in an manufacturing environment
- Experience as a Project Manager
- Eligible to obtain P.Eng
- Project Management certification is an asset
- Good understanding of supporting functions: Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain Management
