**SUMMARY OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the Director of Business Development - National Brand, the Regional Accounts Manager will be responsible for business development of regional customers in Quebec such as discount stores, pharmacies, grocery stores, convenience stores and food service. In addition, the incumbent will support the Director of Business Development in specific tasks for IGA, Metro and Super C. He/she will play a key role in communication between the Quebec major accounts and the sales force.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and execute the business plan of the customers under his/her responsibility by implementing strategies, managing sales spend by segment and achieving profitable growth objectives.
- Identify development opportunities with existing customers while analyzing their needs.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through service and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with various departments by providing promotional information for demand planning.
- Prospect for new customers by working closely with internal departments.
- Effectively manage external communication, respecting agreed levels of contact with major accounts in Quebec.
- Support the sales force by transmitting information from major accounts (validation of promotions and new products, etc.).
- Perform all other related tasks. This position includes several administrative tasks.
- Support the sales management team.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- University degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in retail sales and intermediary account management, preferably in the CPG / agri-food industry.
- Demonstrate organizational, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Team player.
- Understanding of P&L factors.
- Strong planning, analytical, organizational and time management skills are essential.
- Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to think “outside the box” in order to secure additional business opportunities.
- Ability to effectively manage change in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken. You will need to communicate regularly with our customers and colleagues in all regions.
