Relationship Manager, Healthcare Staffing Solutions

**Position Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Relationship Manager focused on Staffing Solutions to join our team at Affinity Health. The Relationship Manager plays a key role in driving revenue growth by creating client loyalty and identifying and pursuing business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and effectively promoting our portfolio of staffing services.
**This role is focused on individuals who have direct business development experience with hospitals, LTC facilities, retirement homes, or other care-delivery staffing solutions**
**Responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and pursue new staffing business opportunities within Champlain region.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer needs, pain points, and business objectives in the staffing solutions sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target hospital, LTC, and retirement home organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, service development, and services delivery, to develop tailored staffing solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase our staffing solutions and value proposition to hospital, LTC, & retirement home clients.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, consistently driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM (Dynamics) software.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field - Required.
- Clinical background e.g. nursing, allied health, etc. - Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or account management, with a proven track record of success in winning RFPs in the healthcare industry with staffing solutions expertise - Required.
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including staffing, provider organizations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends - Required.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously - Preferred.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
- Experience using CRM software (Dynamics) and other sales productivity tools - Preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events in the Champlain area - Required.
**Additional Areas of Support in Collaboration with the Operations Team**
Contract Management Duties:
- Establishes good customer relationships and understands their current and developing requirements
- Responds in timely fashion to customer questions and inquiries in courteous and professional manner
- Monitors customer satisfaction and project progress according to plan/SOW/commitments
- Maintains and/or improves gross margin against established targets
- Seeks additional revenue opportunities on existing contracts
- Assumes accountability for contract compliance and achievement of revenue and gross margin goals, as well as tracking customer and workforce satisfaction levels
General Support:
- Supports and contributes to the Staffing line of business, as required
- Supports and contributes to quarterly forecasts and annual budget development
- Interacts with HR/Payroll and Divisional Services (Business Administration, Finance, etc.) to facilitate information flow
- A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A “can-do”, “let’s make it happen” attitude and a focus on a positive customer experience
- Creative ability to identify potential new business
- A record of success closing large opportunities and a strong desire to succeed
- Interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others
