Job Type: Contract Security Requirement Must hold a Government of Enhanced Reliability Clearance. Key Responsibilities Agile Delivery Leadership: Guide the squad in applying agile principles and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) to plan, execute, and deliver high-impact initiatives aligned with customer and business priorities. Customer Value Focus: Ensure that the team maintains a clear line of sight to customer needs and outcomes, facilitating prioritization and decision-making that maximizes value delivery. Team Enablement: Foster a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous learning. Remove impediments, support team health, and help build sustainable delivery practices. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between the squad and stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and shared understanding of goals, progress, and risks. Metrics & Improvement: Use data-driven insights to support team retrospectives, track delivery performance, and identify opportunities for improvement in both process and outcomes. Key Qualifications Capable of building strong relationships with squads and individuals, building a reputation as a trusted advisor, coach, and friend. Contributor to fostering a healthy work environment and builds self-sufficiency within the squad by ensuring the talent and tools for success are available, and squads are empowered to leverage them. Effective navigator of communications within and beyond the squad to align stakeholders. Coaching and facilitation Capable of delivering effective coaching to squad members to help achieve the full potential of the individual and the squad. Strong supporter of squad members by helping them develop necessary skills and Agile expertise. Effective collaborator with the Product Owner and squad to drive towards achieving Product Vision and OKRs. Ability to lead proactive resolution of intra-or-inter squad conflicts. Agile knowledge and expertise Familiar with Agile and leverages relevant frameworks (e.g., Scrum or Kanban) to optimize squad outcomes. Grasps the details of squad members’ technical approaches and proactively drives initiatives to improve engineering practices. Fluent in customer centricity and effectively encourages the squad to uphold those principles. Effective at re-orienting the squads thinking around continuous iteration based on customer feedback when necessary. Mindset and behaviors Naturally and consistently brings enthusiasm and passion about the Enterprise Agile process to effectively encourage the squad to contribute to that environment. Adopts a growth mindset and promotes and open-feedback culture within the squad Other Qualifications Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile principles, the Scrum Framework and Kanban. Completed an undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management, program management or business analysis. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a dedicated Agile Project Manager. Assets Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) Knowledge of Planview Portfolios Fluently bilingual in both official languages, French and English.
