**Detailed Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership - Hire/Train/Retain**:

- Provides leadership and support to the Turkstra Marketing and E-commerce Team (internal and external) —including Web Design, UI/UX, Marketing Team, External Agencies, and Brand Ambassador.
- Conducts effective one-on-one meetings, quarterly, and annual reviews with direct reports.
- Ensures that all direct reports have an ongoing training and development plan.
- Maintains optimal staffing levels and develops succession plans for all Marketing and E-commerce roles.

**Integrated Marketing and E-commerce Strategy**:

- Leads the development of integrated marketing and e-commerce strategies by collaborating closely with the Sales Team, Managers, Marketing Team, E-commerce Team, customers, and distribution partners.
- Spearheads the execution of marketing campaigns, including segmentation, testing, tracking, reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Oversees the creation and management of marketing content for online channels, in-store promotions, the Build-it-Better program, social media, and sales campaigns.
- Maintains a comprehensive content calendar that aligns marketing and e-commerce activities.
- Coordinates market research to identify new business opportunities, particularly in the digital and e-commerce space.
- Develops and organizes promotional events and activities to drive both online and offline engagement.

**E-commerce Management and Web Optimization**:

- Manages Turkstra's web strategy, ensuring our online presence is industry-leading and customer-centric.
- Oversees the development and optimization of the company’s new online store to enhance user experience and drive online sales.
- Manages relationships with agencies, supporting partners, and technology platforms.
- Oversees regular A/B testing and leverages results to drive continuous improvements.
- Ensures websites and online content are effectively optimized for search engines (SEO) and utilizes search engine marketing (SEM) strategies.
- Integrates e-commerce analytics with marketing data to inform strategies and decision-making.

**Internal and External Communication**:

- Develops and maintains a public relations strategy to strengthen Turkstra's brand image and reputation.
- Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations governing marketing and e-commerce efforts (e.g., casl, data privacy regulations).

**Administrative, Financial, and Reporting**:

- Oversees the management of annual marketing and e-commerce budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Is responsible for the e-commerce P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Establishes departmental KPIs for both marketing and e-commerce and drives unified performance to meet or exceed targets.
- Analyzes key performance metrics for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends.
- Translates analytical insights into actionable strategies for the Marketing, E-commerce, and Executive teams.
- Regularly reviews analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and dashboards to monitor performance and inform decision-making.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in senior marketing and e-commerce roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, and optimize budgets.
- Successful track record in developing and executing integrated marketing and e-commerce strategies.
- Proficiency with Shopify Plus and marketing automation tools like Klaviyo.
- Experience with content management systems, HTML, and design software.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve team conflicts effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with the building and supply industry is a strong asset.
- Established network of media and public relations contacts.
