**G.I.S. SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR**

**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare inspection software and manage the distribution system inspection
- Design and implement strategies for updating engineering systems, ensuring quality control and integration of systems or information.
- Plan projects, create work orders and tickets and provide reporting on project progress.
- Assist in the production of budgets and plans for engineering information systems.
- Assists with development of the capital improvement program by providing required inputs and estimates.
- Assist in the creation, modification and maintenance of the asset management plan consistent with regulatory requirements as it relates to GIS, OMS, ADMS and SCADA.
- Perform data analytics and generate reports as required to support system planning and regulatory reporting.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Post graduate certificate in GIS is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years experience in G.I.S.
- Work experience in an electric utility is an asset.
- Requires knowledge of Graphical Information Systems (GIS), work management, outage management and asset management systems.
- Ability to create technical documents; prepare and deliver training.
- Ability to learn new programs and programming languages.
- Ability to plan and execute software upgrades and/or implementations.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and utilize problem solving techniques to derive solutions.
