Administration - Office Administrator

**POSITION FUNCTION**:
Reporting to the Manager of Systems and Administration, this position is responsible for data entry, order entry, and clerical backup for the Service Centre division of Salit Steel. This includes coordinating office activities and paper flow, general reception duties, shipping and receiving, and coverage for production and purchasing related tasks as required. Concise communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and an ability to work quickly and accurately are essential skills necessary to perform in this vital position.
**CORE DUTIES**:
- Document management throughout various parts of the office
- Operate switchboard / reception coverage
- Data Entry as assigned
- Perform various inventory transactions in ERP
- Importing documents into ERP
- Tracking / Compiling information
- Provide coverage in the Production Centre relating to customer pick-ups, shipping/receiving, and invoicing
- Provide assistance in the Purchasing Department with entering &
maintaining purchase orders, warehouse transfers, and updating costs
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-Secondary education in Office Administration or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of previous experience working in an office environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of Google Suite considered an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Meticulous records maintenance skills
- High attention to detail
- Pleasanttelephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
