**WHAT WE NEED**

The Marketing & Sales Specialist is a pillar for success at TBS and therefore will undergo a training process as they learn our industry, company, and products. Reporting to the General Manager, the Marketing Specialist communicates who TBS is, and what makes us unique, with the world. We need someone that is passionate about marketing in an industry that is always evolving and isn't afraid to try new things Complete sales activities to support your Sales Team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Organize, implement, and analyze effectiveness of marketing campaigns across various platforms including setting and reviewing budgets and goals for each campaign
- Manage all social media platforms
- Plan and coordinate TBS semi-annual marketing event
- Ensure company branding is consistent internally and externally
- Engage sales staff with trend reports, industry statistics, and implementation of marketing strategies
- Plan, execute, and track effectiveness of in-house events; find and attend relevant tradeshows; attend industry tradeshows and PK (product knowledge) sessions
- Design and order TBS-branded merchandise
- Create aesthetically pleasing displays and ensure all merchandise on floor is on-season; collaborate with vendor representatives to sort through product on the floor
- Assist clients with annual promo product marketing calendars
- Update website and Google My Business regularly; analyze statistics and SEO
- Manage TBS’ SharePoint site and train staff on Microsoft Office products as needed
- Maintain product knowledge, staying current with promotional trends and decoration techniques
- Provide excellent customer service via correspondence on telephone, digital means or in person with clients, prospects, and vendors
- Initiate sales with existing clients and new prospects as required
- Complete sales reporting and logging procedures

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**
- Diploma or degree in marketing or related field
- 1 year of marketing experience (coordinator role preferred)
- 1 year of experience managing social media platforms
- Expert-level computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES**
- 1 year of experience in a marketing coordinator role
- 1 year of experience in the promotional products industry
- Experience with WordPress an asset

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
