**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in carrying out patient treatment plans, including gait training, transfers, strengthening, balance exercises, and therapeutic modalities (heat, ice, IFC, US)
- Deliver safe and effective **1:1 and group exercise sessions**:

- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and ensure treatment areas remain safe and organized
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to supervising Physiotherapists

**Qualifications**
- ** PTA Diploma** from an accredited program
- ** 1+ years of experience** (orthopedic or hospital-based setting preferred)
- Knowledge of adaptive equipment and mobility aids
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently or in a team in fast pace environment
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, lifting and transferring using proper/safe body mechanics.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Clear **criminal and vulnerable sector checks** and up-to-date immunization record
- ** BLS certification**
