Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the Business Development Representative, Oilfield is responsible for the initiation, development and growth of our Oilfield client base in throughout the Prairie Region. (Fort St. John, Grande Prairie, Peace River, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Lloydminster, Red Deer, Calgary, Lethbridge, Brooks, Medicine Hat, Southern Saskatchewan, and Southern Manitoba.)
The Business Development Representative will market and sell Superior Propane’s product and services to new clients by successfully achieving predefined sales goals and objectives in the Prairie Region.
You will bring a proven track record in consultative selling and strong sales leadership, with a clearly defined process from lead generation through to revenue realization.
**What you'll do**:

- Provide leadership to your business partners by growing the oilfield portfolio.
- Collaborate with your teammates to develop, recommend, and execute a sales plan that leverages national and regional programs and resources to consistently meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Prospect, research, and identify new business opportunities and work the sales plan to create awareness, discover client needs, and deliver product and service solutions.
- Prepare and confidently present sales proposals, including pricing and product/service terms, to key decision makers. Influence, negotiate and close the sale with the best interest of the company and the client in mind.
- Collaborate with and engage your teammates and business partners to ensure the needs of the client will be met.
- Communicate regularly and prepare reports on key performance indicators and communication on sales progress within the sales funnel/cycle and achievements. Intimately know customer base and area activity and utilize information and data to capitalize on sales opportunities and recommend sales strategies.
- Promote and represent Superior Propane positively and professionally within the community and industry to all customers, competitors and industry associates.

**What you bring**:

- Oil and Gas Experience/Background
- Construction Experience/Background
- Two (2) to three (3) years sales experience
- Exceptional customer service skills and relationship management skills
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Business acumen, financial and analytical skills
- Post-Secondary education or professional certification or equivalent courses
- Strong leadership skills
- Superior organization and objective management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Salesforce an asset)
- Knowledge of the propane industry
- Valid Driver’s License & Safe to use Vehicle
