**Position Overview**:
**Main Duties**:

- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the industrial and commercial sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market research, lead generation, and qualification.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and estimators, to ensure client requirements are met.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
- Represent Black & McDonald at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline using sales tracking software.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions.

**Employment Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the fabrication or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of the fabrication and industrial markets, including key players, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales tracking software.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
