We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team as a **Collections Agent**. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for contacting customers to collect outstanding debts, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain accurate records of interactions.

**Start Date**: September 20, 2024

**Office Location**:55 Mulcaster Street, Barrie, ON

**Responsibilities**
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve outstanding debts
- Document all customer interactions and payment arrangements accurately in the system
- Follow up with customers to ensure payment agreements are upheld
- Collaborate with other team members to develop strategies for improving collection efforts
- Provide excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Full-time opportunity
- Required availability: Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 9:00pm
- Training completed onsite - minimum 1 week
- Hybrid work model after training is complete
- No extended time off or vacation within the first 6 months of employment

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience in a customer service is required
- Previous experience in finance or call center environment is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
