Pacific Smoke International Inc. (PSI), the leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of a suite of quality and value-oriented vape products, seeks a talented, experienced, and accomplished **Brand Manager** to lead one of our company’s brands. This senior team position is responsible/accountable for one of the company’s brands, including the brand strategies, brand team, brand department structure, brand process and brand department P&L.
Furthermore, the Brand Manager responsibilities/accountabilities include:
- achieving goals set out by Marketing and Products director/organization;
- profiling the brand ideal client profiles, and sizing and scoping the market opportunities to align selling and brand efforts to achieve maximum success with its distribution channels;
- owns brand’s P&L, adhering to and managing the brands department budget;
- formulating and evolving the brand department’s organizational structure to deliver the planned results;
- defining, hiring, developing, and retaining people in the department which include but not limited to products manager, marketing manager and etc.
- continuous improvement, refinement and maintenance of the end-to-end brand process (launch/roadmap/product development and etc);
- working directly with the CEO, Director of Marketing, and other senior team members to strategize and plan achievement of company goals and objectives;
- understanding the competitive landscape, identifying trends and bringing that information to the company at large;
- being an ambassador of the company’s core values, exemplifying and (especially) cultivating them with all individuals in the sales department and thereby flowing out to the client base;
- driving the successful implementation and adoption of brand programs.
- measuring and internal reporting on the key metrics of brand department performance
- is the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects.
- plans, implements, and executes successful consumer and trade marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, advertising).
- contributes to annual brand planning process.
- sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.
- utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.
- collaborates with sales team for specific strategies for clients.
- represents the company and provides support as needed at various trade shows and conventions.
- plans and executes events and promotions within fan communities.
- provides reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing trade and consumer promotion programs.
- performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company.
Your experience and resume will show us:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration/Marketing or other related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of total marketing/selling experience, with at least 2 years in some form of management level
- End-to-end sales process knowhow (develop, plan, implement and manage) from demand generation to repeat business
- Successfully built brand/product teams from scratch
- Excellent communicator (verbal and written), eloquent conversationalist with a tendency to listen first
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Adaptability and agility in an ever-changing industry

**Work Remotely**:
- Our office is located in Markham, ON. Our team is currently working from home on a full-time basis. This is a temporary arrangement due to Covid-19 and may be required to transition back to the office in the future.
