**The Role**

We are on lookout for a self-motivated **Store Clerk** with an engaging level of enthusiasm and with exceptional customer service skills.

This is a permanent full-time role. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including a group retirement program.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and thank all customers and provide them with prompt and highly friendly, courteous service or assistance.
- Serve customers by slicing, cutting, weighing and packaging product.
- Fill special customer request orders.
- Price and display products.
- Stock display case and rotate product.
- Assist with product displays.
- Take stock in storage or on shelf areas.
- Keep supervisor aware of low inventory conditions or spoilage problems.
- Assist in receiving and unloading of merchandise.
- Assist with checking and verifying receipt of product to ensure that items listed on vendor invoices are all delivered.
- Assist with cashier duties.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store by performing duties such as cleaning windows, sweeping floors and dusting and wiping down product shelves as required.
- Ensure that equipment is clean and in good condition before and after use.
- Strict adherence to all Company established policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Food Handling, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in Retail sales preferred.
- Strong work ethics, positive team attitude, and demonstrates initiative.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, frequent deadline environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong verbal, writing, and listening skills.
