**Job Overview**
The Systems Analyst, IT Governance is responsible for supporting the implementation, and control of IT
Governance frameworks, projects, processes, tools and procedures. This role will support banking infrastructure

**Role**

In the areas of ServiceNow, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Governance:
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information;
evaluating output requirements and formats
Consult and collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders to better understand the

business requirements, product needs and possible alternative solutions

Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports;
recommending actions
Suggest changes to management using analytics to support your recommendations
Create and deliver training materials related to the new processes and procedures, as well as

being a point of reference and support through the verification and closing phases of projects

Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends
and opportunities for improvement. Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing
or one-time operational issues

Identify and integrate existing workflows and processes with new requirements and
enhancements around governance and reporting for.

Build and design methods to monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from IT to its internal clients and
from external vendors, repositories of information related to the role, including but not limited to: asset
management systems, ticketing systems and project management systems

Manage ticketing, asset management and project management systems and repositories
Develop, manage and report on the lifecycle management process to control deployments across all

environments, including but not limited to: T24 product changes, updates, fixes, technical, and/or
functional releases

Work with business partners to coordinate, facilitate, manage, track, asset manage, project manage and
report on requests, changes incidents and problem tickets through dashboards

Provide administrative support of ServiceNow, including planning, designing, writing, modifying,
integrating and testing related code

Perform other duties as required

**Required Skills**:
Have a University degree/College diploma in the field of Computer Science and/or Information Security

Possess functional abilities in web technologies including: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, and SQL

Be an expert user of MS Office

Be quick to respond to requests for service from all of your clients

Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

Possess exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills

Openly share your knowledge with the team

Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and be trustworthy

Be approachable with your superior interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills

Be aware of and mitigate enterprise risk factors and ensure compliance with applicable regulations,
legislation and FirstOntario policies and procedures

Be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as the job demands and travel as
required
