Are you looking for steady work, working 1/2 the year. Our team is in need of an experienced HEAVY DUTY TECHNICIAN RED SEAL to join our team in the OIL SANDS, who specialize on shovels, 797, 789 and D11.

These position is safety sensitive environment on a14/14 rotation, flight and camp provided to site from remote area (Edmonton, Calgary)

Red Seal Journeyman will earn $70 an hour on a flat rate as a subcontractor on a 12 hour shift

The HET will:

- Specialize in CAT 797 Haul Truck and/or Hydraulic Shovel Maintenance & Repair
- Check dozers, haul trucks, excavators and other heavy construction and mining equipment for proper performance
- Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Repair and replace defective parts, components and/or systems
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and that it meets or exceeds manufacturer's specifications
- Majority of work is field work; required to work independently and as part of a team

**Experience**:

- mechanical: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyman red seal (preferred)
- Drivers license (preferred)
