**Position Summary**

The Head Concierge is a front-line leader of our on-site facility service team at a residential strata complex in Squamish. They supervise and coordinate the activities of residential building concierge. As a cornerstone of the team’s success in providing effective client services, this role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and adept problem-solving skills to create a seamless and positive living environment.

**Location**:Surrey

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday 7 am to 3 pm

**Pay Rate**: $21

**Benefits**: Extended health & dental after 6 months of employment

**Key Responsibilities**:
: Manage and guide a team of 5-7 staff, including concierge, security, cleaners, and move attendants. Plan and assign tasks, train staff, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

: Act as a liaison between owners, residents, contractors, strata agents, and other stakeholders. Coordinate activities, establish schedules, and address concerns promptly.

: Oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations. Ensure smooth operation of equipment, respond to emergencies, and maintain records on expenses and payments.

: Work with the Building Manager, Strata Agent, and Council to maintain service standards and provide regular updates on team performance and property status**.**

**Key Skills and Experience**:
Leadership and Relevant Background:

- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in strata, security or hospitality sector - managed a team of 5 or more people.
- Prior work experience with a strata corporation is considered beneficial.

Communication:

- Effective English written, verbal, and phone communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Licensing and Certifications:

- Possession of a valid BC Security License is an asset. Must obtain a valid BC Security Licence within 3 months of employment.

Physical Requirements:

- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs., climb ladders (up to 8 feet), and navigate building stairs.
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions and activities such as walking, standing, sitting, and writing.
