**Position Summary**:
As a Junior Purchaser, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our Procurement team by managing purchasing processes, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and logistics providers to optimize procurement and inventory practices, directly contributing to our operational success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Planning**: Use the min/max method to determine purchase quantities.
- **Vendor Coordination**: Prepare and evaluate quotes, place purchase orders, and track deliveries.
- **Document Management**: Handle documentary receiving and coordinate ERP data entry with Accounting.
- **Inventory Oversight**: Maintain open purchase orders and freight reports.
- **Expediting**: Ensure timely availability of materials to prevent production delays.
- **Logistics Coordination**: Manage inbound freight and prepare freight quotes for truck and ocean shipments.
- **Customs Compliance**: Assist in import clearance by preparing customs declarations.
- **Collaboration**: Work with internal teams to ensure smooth production processes and avoid line shortages.
- **Record Management**: Maintain Non-Conformance Records and USMCA Certificates annually.
- **Other Duties**: Support additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree, diploma, or certificate in supply chain management or a related field or equivalent practical experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
- 2 years of purchasing experience.
- Knowledge of min/max purchasing methods and global import processes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills.
