**Junior Buyer - Antec Controls**

The position of Junior Buyer offers dynamic challenges in procurement and relationship management. If you thrive on new challenges, pushing yourself to new heights and working in a team-driven environment, you should consider the following opportunity.
- Manage safety stock levels, ensuring a continuous supply of required material to production.
- Create and maintain Purchase Orders as well as purchasing related data and information.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with vendors including qualification, selection, communication, and evaluation.
- Create and monitor purchasing reports to drive procurement strategies.
- Develop sourcing strategies to meet customer needs, market conditions and maximize positive impact to the organization.
- Lead procurement related negotiations with existing and new vendors.
- 1-5 years of related purchasing experience
- Currently or previously enrolled in courses related to supply chain management. Interest in pursuing a SCMP or SMT designation in the future.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization skills, with an eye for detail
- A high level of critical thinking and accountability
- Process driven, self-motivated and demonstrates the ability to take initiative.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment to meet timeline-dependent deliverables
- Aptitude and desire for customer service excellence
