Screen and triage requests for mental health and addictions services. With the aid of LOCUS as a decision making tool, the assessor coordinator will resource clients as appropriate to community and/or specialized mental health and/or addictions services.

**Education**
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

**Other Education and Training**
- Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
- Bachelor of Psychology is acceptable

**Knowledge and Abilities**
- Ability to act professionally, ethically and provide sound judgement
- Ability to keep effective work relationships with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Knowledge in addictions screening, assessment tools and procedures
- Ability to develop appropriate recovery plans
- Sound judgment, tact, initiative and high standards of integrity/responsibility
- Ability to administer and interpret various scales to determine client's status
- Ability to work flexible hours

**Other Information**
- Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
- Ability to travel when required
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
