**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate a range of heavy equipment including backhoes, loaders, graders, skid steers, and excavators.
- Perform excavation, grading, and paving tasks for road projects.
- Safely work around live underground services, including water and electric lines.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate equipment usage records and report issues promptly.
- Follow all Alberta OH&S safety regulations and company protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil construction or roadwork.
- Proven experience working around underground utilities (e.g., water mains, electrical).
- Familiarity with paving techniques considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of job site safety and Alberta OH&S standards.
- Relevant certifications such as Ground Disturbance, H2S Alive, WHMIS, CSO, CSTS, and Standard First Aid with CPR are strongly preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
