**Mental Health Clinician (25-0000653)**

**Status: TEMPORARY Full Time**
**Department: Mental Health Eating Disorders**
**Site: Sister Margaret Smith Centre**
**Shifts: Days**
**Rate of Pay: $46.01 - $59.65 per hour**

The Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing assessment and treatment to individuals and their families. The Mental Health Clinician may also engage in community education, program development, research and consultation with community agencies. Travel may be required on occasion.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or Social Work with registration in the appropriate College
- Five years of clinical experience and demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling, group therapy and psychoeducation.
- Experience working with adults with complex mental health and addiction concerns

Skills/Abilities:

- Clear understanding and experience working with Eating Disorders
- Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated regular attendance at work
- **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
