Our company specializes in mine water management and ensures that mineral extraction projects not only comply with stringent government regulations but also proceed in a socially acceptable manner putting value on clean water as a shared resource. We develop new technologies, design and operate water treatment plants, and provide ongoing technical support which enables us to continuously improve our designs and technologies.
**The Opportunity**
The position combines project coordination and resource management and is ideal for a self-starter looking to be a part of a close-knit team, working along side with the projects team and finance team in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver. Reporting directly to the COO, the Project & Resource Coordinator will support project resourcing and management of timesheet functions to ensure accurate reporting of project actuals verse budgets. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Resource Tracking and Timesheet Management
- Management of the collection and completion of timesheet data for project allocation
- Tracking project timesheets and budgeted hours to align with project needs
- Reviewing timesheet inputs to ensure data integrity for payroll purposes
- Coordination with Project Managers for their review and approval on monthly timesheet
- Providing accurate and timely internal timesheet data to support client invoice creation
- Preparation of and analysis on resource allocation, project budget tracking, and activity reports
- Assisting in the coordination of resources across multi-offices in North and South America, and China
Projects Support
- Organizing project document lists and submissions between clients, BQE, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Assisting with post-project evaluations of time used vs budget to capture and communicate lessons learned and improve accuracy of cost estimates.
- Assisting in the review and coding of invoices, tracking cost commitments to-date, and reconciling invoices with PO’s while working closely with the Project Manager to monitor project costs
- Assisting in procurement, logistics, and expediting
- Preparing project progress reports
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Energetic individual who takes initiative and enjoys work in dynamic multi-discipline environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective multitasking and time management skills
- Organized database tracker with attention to detail
- Developed computer skills, experienced with cloud-based software or timesheet systems
- Superior MS Excel skill to generate reports
- Previous experience in project support or resource management/tracking
- Language skills (Mandarin, Spanish) not mandatory, but an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
