**About the Role**

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the overall comfort and cleanliness of guest rooms, the Main Inn lobby, hallways, washrooms, staff accommodations and other various areas of the resort when requested as standards permit. Working collaboratively with the Laundry Manager, In-room Supervisor and other departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Report to laundry for instructions each morning
- Transport laundry bags on foot in carts, golf carts and up/ down stairs daily
- Clean, dust, straighten furniture, pictures, make up the beds, clean the washrooms and ensure all necessary items are stocked in each assigned room efficiently
- Ensure the building closets are stocked with all necessary products when assigned
- Remove and/or report all out of place items around the property
- Assisting the Executive housekeeper on Staff Accommodation quarters room cleanings when requested
- Ensure the indoor pool and change room area is clean daily
- Respond to requests for items and cleaning from other departments and guests as permitted
- Follow all Health and Safety measures set in place that promote proper ergonomics such as: How to lift and How to clean a tub
- Cleaning of the chairs, tables and debris on and around the pool deck daily in the Summer months
- Read and fill out daily paperwork as a direct line of communication to the Laundry Manager
- Report all maintenance and safety concerns immediately to the Management team
- Other duties as requested

**Job Specification**:

- Prior housekeeping experience an asset
- Physical stamina is required
- Reliable, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong time management skills
- Available weekends and holidays

**Working Conditions**:

- Standing, bending and walking for the duration of shifts
- Lifting, pushing and pulling 25-50 lbs
- Repetitive movements and use of stairs daily
- Walking throughout the property in rain and heat
