Overview

Duties
- Lead yoga classes of varying levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes
- Develop and teach customized yoga classes for special populations, such as prenatal, seniors, or children
- Create engaging and dynamic lesson plans, incorporating different yoga styles and techniques
- Provide clear and concise instruction, offering modifications and adjustments as needed
- Encourage students to listen to their bodies and respect their limitations
- Foster a sense of community within the studio, promoting a positive and supportive environment
- Offer one-on-one sessions for private instruction
- Manage time effectively to ensure punctual start times and efficient class transitions
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to student inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with the studio management team to plan events, workshops, and retreats
- Stay current with the latest yoga research, trends, and best practices

**Requirements**:

- Certification in yoga instruction from a reputable organization (e.g., Yoga Alliance)
- A strong understanding of various yoga styles, including Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative Yoga
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; fluency in French is a plus
- Experience teaching classes of varying sizes and skill levels
- A patient and empathetic demeanor, with the ability to adapt to diverse student needs
- A commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the field of yoga
- A passion for teaching and a genuine interest in the well-being of others
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently
- Bilingualism or the ability to learn French is a valuable asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
