IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role ensures the efficient operation of IT infrastructure, troubleshoots technical issues, and provides user support to maintain smooth business operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide first-line IT support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain company computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) and escalate more complex problems as needed.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory, M365 and other IT systems.
- Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring proper setup and security compliance.
- Maintain IT documentation, including troubleshooting steps, asset tracking, and FAQs.
- Ensure security protocols are followed.
- Support remote employees with VPN access and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers when necessary.
- Participate in IT improvement projects and contribute to process optimizations.
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking principles.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications (preferred but not required).

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
