We are currently looking for a **Dispatcher** who has a passion for the transportation industry and would like to join a knowledgeable team of individuals that deal with cross-border flatbed freight. Details include customer service and sales as well as scheduling and driver management.

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate, schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on customer requirements and to fully utilize and move equipment efficiently
- Tracking and communicating delivery information to customers
- Input of daily data entry into TMW Truckmate dispatch program
- Assist with customs preparation (ACE & ACI) when needed
- Provide updates as they occur to the operations team and customers on significant issues
- Build and retain relationships with customers
- Maintain solid understanding of market conditions
- Provide occasional support to customers and drivers after hours/weekends when needed

**Skills/Abilities**
- Strong communication skill and interpersonal skills with ability to maintain composure under stressful situations. Motivate and direct drivers in a positive and professional manner
- Proficient computer skills & Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, load security and regulations.
- Knowledge in current “hours of services” laws
- Knowledge of Loadlink
- Strong organizational, planning and strategic execution skills
- Talent for securing new business
- An ability to solve problems
- Strong knowledge of different types of trucks and trailers

**Qualifications**:

- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- 3 years Prior flatbed and cross-border dispatching experience
- TMW Truckmate experience a plus
