Northern Gold Foods Ltd., a food manufacturing facility, is currently seeking **Production** **Operators.**

These are full-time entry-level positions with significant opportunity for growth and long-term employment within a stable and growing organization.

Operators will be responsible for production and product quality by ensuring operation runs smooth. Efficient running of machines and other related work will be key.

**_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: _**
- Become familiar with all aspects of plant operations and machinery to trouble shoot and correct errors on processing equipment and high-speed automated packaging machinery.
- Perform equipment changeover and set up, reassembly, trouble shooting.
- Run equipment efficiently, reporting of downtime and reasons.
- Report waste and reasons.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Ensure sanitation procedures are followed and performed efficiently.
- Conduct operations in a manner that maintains high standards of health and safety to prevent accidents or injuries as a well as GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- MUST be willing and able to work rotating or straight 8-hour shifts. Shifts include days, afternoons, and evenings scheduled within a 24/7 operation.

Must be able to lift and carry 25-50 lbs.

**_REQUIREMENTS: _**
- motivated & able to multi-task.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Excellent English Language Skills -- both written & verbal.
- Able to work within a team environment & independently.
- Computer and mathematical knowledge would be an asset.
- Experience in food industry an asset.

**_COMPENSATION: _**
- Starting wage: $17.00/hr. + $0.50 shift premium for shifts starting after 12:00pm.
